Decision Making by parents for the young ones or by youngsters for themselves

Youngsters should take their decisions by themselves, because a decision about an issue requires prior knowledge about that issue. If a person knows what are the positive points and what can be the negative outcomes, this helps to take the right decision and on the basis of this theory anyone can take one’s own decisions.
The only positive edge the parents or elders have is their experience, on the basis of such an experience they decide about any matter. But if they will provide such experimental information to the youngsters and only tell them about what is right and what is wrong and let them decide about the issue, then this will be the most ideal situation.
Because youngster have to face the future which lies in front of them and they have to face it alone, elders can never take the responsibility for their children forever and they can’t live with the children forever to take decisions on their behalf. And one more thing is that too much pressure from the parents side can cause retaliation which may result in disrespect for elders.
The best way for this situation would be, just to guide, provide proper information to the children and let them practice what they have to do in future, let them practice “Independent Decision Making” without relying 100% on their elders.
